Disclosure of Financial Interests
As an accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education, the American Geriatrics Society continuously strives to ensure that the education activities planned and conducted by our faculty meet generally accepted ethical standards as codified by the ACCME, the Food and Drug Administration, and the American Medical Association. To this end, we have implemented a process wherein everyone who is in a position to control the content of an educational activity has disclosed to us all financial relationships, regardless of the amount, with ineligible companies within the past 24 months and under which we mitigate relevant financial relationships.
The ACCME defines ineligible companies as those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
